The MBAAI Southern Chapter, in conjunction with UCC and Cpl, was delighted to host a panel discussion and Q&A on this most compelling of topics. In our talk we discussed:

Key Speakers:
Siobhan O’Shea is Client Services Director for Cpl, Ireland’s largest recruitment company. She is a frequent speaker and brand ambassador for Cpl’s Future of Work Institute on trends and the future workplace. Siobhan is an elected member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Council, involved in their Skills & Talent taskforce. She is also a member of the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation Future of ICT Skills and HEA Springboard expert groups. Siobhan previously held a number of leadership roles with recruitment firm Morgan McKinley. Her early career was spent in New York working as an Investment Advisor on Wall Street and as a Producer for financial television network CNBC. Siobhan qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD.
As Cpl Regional Sales Director, Graham Burns has over 20 years’ experience in leading recruitment teams to source top talent. Based in Limerick, he is Key Account Director for many Cpl clients based outside of Dublin and a regular media commentator on careers, recruitment and economic matters. Graham also works with the IDA on a variety of FDI projects particularly those projects seeking the optimum location given their talent requirements, helping them to effectively select their Irish operation.
The presentation, before an audience of ca. 30, was very thought provoking and fueled great discussion for the expert panel afterwards, with an open and honest conversation flowing on for 20 minutes past the scheduled timeline.
