Event Details

The Association is delighted to kick off a quarterly series of international speaker events in 2023 with Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, the renowned psychologist, author and entrepreneur, who uses science and tech to help organizations predict human performance. This virtual event will take place on Thursday, 23rd March at 6.30pm.

Against the backdrop of his latest book I, Human, Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic will take us on an enthralling and eye-opening journey across the AI landscape. Though AI has the potential to change our lives for the better, he argues, AI is also worsening our bad tendencies, making us more distracted, selfish, biased, narcissistic, entitled, predictable, and impatient. It doesn’t have to be this way, however, he says.

Chamorrow-Premuzic is an organisational psychologist and currently Chief Talent Scientist for Manpower Group as well as Professor of Business Psychology at University College London and an adjunct professor at Columbia University. He has consulted for leading global organisations including Twitter, Unilever, the BBC and Goldman Sachs. He is the author of nine books including Why do so many incompetent men become bosses – and what to do about it. (HBR Press).

This event is free to members who may bring a guest. Note members must log in to avail of free entry.
