In the first in our series of international speaker events this year, we are delighted to welcome Hira Ali, author of Her Allies: A Practical Toolkit to Help Men Lead Through Advocacy, to Dublin to address members in the RDS Members’ Club at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 5th March 2025.

The event takes place in the week of International Women’s Day 2025.

Her Allies: A Practical Toolkit to Help Men Lead Through Advocacy offers men the strategies they need to become powerful advocates for gender equality. Hira Ali introduces readers to the knowledge, strategies, and confidence needed to embrace the role of an ally and discusses the barriers that might hold them back. Through five interactive sections, she exposes the obstacles that impede women’s equality, and encourages readers to not only challenge their own perspectives but also to confront societal norms, organizational dynamics, and the institutional structures that perpetuate gender disparities. 

Hira Ali is an award-winning executive coach, leadership development specialist, and speaker. Founder of Advancing Your Potential and champion of allyship programs and inclusive talent management initiatives, she is also the award-winning author of Her Way To The Top: A Guide to Smashing the Glass Ceiling.
