The Association’s Southern Chapter is pleased to announce an event with Tom O’Brien of Sprintmodo presenting on the subject of Team Power for Managers – Enhancing clarity, rhythm and accountability to get work done. In conjunction with MTU, the event takes place on 4th March 2026 at 6.30pm at Johnson & Perrott Peugeot, Mahonpoint, Cork T12 RD35.

As a manager of a team, or a team member who is willing to step up and lead, your role is to help them to align on what needs to be done and get them executing on it. Done right, your team will have momentum. Team members will have less frustration and more of a chance to do their best work. This session will explore the key elements to strengthen team power, team clarity, execution rhythm, collaboration quality, and accountability. Sprintmodo’s Challenge Session approach will be used to help you evaluate how you currently approach team execution.  We will experiment with Tangible Actions you can use to support you, and we will consider how you could adapt this to your own context after the session.

Tom O’Brien, Founder & CEO of Sprintmodo, has a background in Execution, Leadership, Teamwork and Manager Development (Sprintmodo), International Product Management, Business Development (J&J and a start-up drug development company, Solvotrin), and Sales & Training (Servier). He is a pharmacist by training (UCC) and has an MBA from London Business School, with International Exchange in Wharton, UPenn. He (with Sprintmodo) has worked with the EMBA and MBA Programmes in Smurfit UCD, the staff of Imperial College London, BioInnovate in University of Galway, CyberInnovate in MTU, and numerous blue chip organisations, in Ireland, the UK, the US and across EMEA.
