The second in our quarterly series of international speaker events in 2023 will be an in-person event, taking place in the Thomas Prior Room in the RDS on 17 May at 6.30pm.

James Burstall is the author of a new book called The Flexible Method – Prepare to Prosper In The Next Global Crisis (Hachette, March 2023). It is a step by step guide to preparing companies for the next disaster – and how you can develop a strategy which will allow growth even if you are facing a recession or even natural disasters.

James is CEO of Argonon, one of the UK’s top international independent production groups. He has worked as an executive producer and producer-director for broadcasters all over the world. Prior to his television career, he was a journalist, working as a writer and editor in Paris, London and New York for Vanity Fair, Condé Nast Traveller, HG, Vogue, The Daily Mail and The Evening Standard.

James is a regular speaker as an industry leader on both sector and wider business platforms, including in the Financial Times, Guardian, Daily Telegraph, City AM and Variety.
