In conjunction with Resonate Leadership, we are planning a LEGO® Serious Play® session in the RDS dealing with the subject of “Navigating Complexity”. Aimed at business leaders, the session will take place from 8 am to 10.30 am on Thursday, 24 April 2025 and is limited to full members.
In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, traditional approaches to leadership often fall short when facing complex, adaptive challenges. How might you unlock new perspectives and solutions that conventional methods may miss? Join us for an immersive workshop where we blend Adaptive Leadership principles with the innovative LEGO® Serious Play® methodology. Experience first-hand how this unique combination creates breakthrough insights when navigating complexity.
Through guided builds and peer-coaching, you will:
- Visualise and build a complex challenge you face
- Explore key stakeholders and their possible losses and gains as you / your organisation works to achieve its purpose
- Leave with fresh thinking and actionable strategies to make progress on this challenge.
LEGO® Serious Play®, a method for strategic planning and problem-solving, was developed in the mid-1990s by professors Johan Roos and Bart Victor at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, in collaboration with the LEGO Group.
The session will be facilitated by experienced Leadership Coach Eadine Hickey of Resonate Leadership, an MBA alumna of UCD, and Leadership Development & Organisational Change Consultant Katie da Gama.
Please email [email protected] if you are interested in taking part in this session, which is free of charge. Note places are limited and we anticipate demand exceeding supply!

In his latest book, Professor Ramanna offers a framework for managing stakeholder outrage that draws on analytical insights from disciplines as wide-ranging as the science of aggression, managerial economics, organizational behaviour, and political philosophy.
